VI Alion Baltic International Music Festival 2019

Schedule of concerts 2019


The schedule of concerts 2019 will be published in February 2019.

Concerts will take place in Riga (Latvia), Helsinki (Finland), Palanga (Lithuania), in Tallinn and Pärnu (Estonia).

The concerts for the VI season of the festival will include concerts by pianist Pavel Nersessian, violinist Albert Markov, violist Michael Kugel among others.

Chamber music concerts are to be performed by violinists Anastasia Kozlova-de Haan, Igor Pikayzen, violist Isabel Villanueva, cellists Antonio Lysy and Raffael Wallfich, award-winning clarinetist Julian Milkis, Opera Stars Denia Mazzola Gavazzeni and Anna Shafajinskaya.

Additionally, open lectures will take place for everyone to enjoy.
Piano lectures will include: lecture on Chopin & Polish music by Professor Piotr Paleczny, lecture-recital on Scandinavian Music by Einar Steen-Nokleberg, lectures on music from Spain by Juan Lago, and the lecture-recital on American music and George Gershwin by Michael Bulychev-Okser.
Violin lectures will be conducted by Albert Markov (Art of Transcription); Felix Andrievsky (Secrets of Violn Sound).
Other lectures will be conducted by Pierre Amoyal, Raffael Wallfisch, Michael Kugel and Julian Milkis.
Voice lecture on Opera Auditions by Mdm. Denia Gavazzeni (Teatro Alla scala) and Anna Shafajinskaya will culminate the lectures program.
