REVIEWS

"The young soprano Yana Eminova (Violetta) would have made a person with a heart of stone very happy and then cry."

"...her Violetta was young and elegant in the first Act and gently loving like the "Love Theme". Translated to English from Unia Galeeva ‘ Lithuanian Classical Music Magazine - La Traviata.

"Vocal soloists were firmly anchored top and bottom by the glowing, translucent soprano of Yana Eminova... A last-minute replacement, Eminova already has a worldwide reputation." GREGORY BARNES - "The State" (SC) - Mozart Requiem.

"No flaws whatsoever were evident in the full, precise soprano of Yana Eminova. With a voice well supported and superbly controlled throughout its range, she exhibited mastery of characterization and style in all other selections. Her "Ach, ich fuhrs" was heartbreaking, fully conveying Pamina's despair. She was delightfully flirtatious as Papagena in the humorous first duet... The Jewel Song from Gounod‘s Faust, performed to perfection by Eminova, was breathtaking. Characterization, diction, phrasing, intonation - everything - seemed perfect." - William Thomas Walker, "Classical Voice North Carolina" —Opera Night.

"...performed the glissandi, grace-notes, and difficult ascending scales and arpeggios of the coloratura passages with elegance and style..." " Maryam Moshaver - New York Concert Review Magazine -Gala in Carnegie Weill Hall.

"This was a joyful event, with the passionate and clear vocalizations of the sweet songbird, Yana Eminova. Ms. Eminova's songs in Russian, French, and Italian were evocative and enchanting. The gowns worn by Ms. Eminova were exquisite, with satin or folk designs. Ms. Eminova creates the sound of raindrops in spring. She is lovely to watch and her singing is a joy to hear. Her porcelain features and intense theatricality merge with her voice to give the audience a most satisfying operatic experience. She can endlessly extend her vibrant tones." - Dr. Roberta E. Zlokower about Carnegie Hall Recital.

"...Yana did her best when executing the part of the 1st soprano, her beautiful singing made me happy and inspired me." - The People's artist of USSR Gennadi Rozhdestvensky.

Besyadinskaya's solo was more settled in a vocal sense, allowing a simple beauty of the song ample expression in her line performance." - Darrell Rosenbluth writing for the NewYork Concert Review Magazine.

From Oleg Yanchenko's recollections: It was necessary to find a light, gentle voice for the execution of my musical composition. I was advised that I should invite Yana. And Yana felt my musical composition deeply, she filled the Great Hall with her aura, she behaved herself properly, as if she is an experienced executant".

"... Yana's execution of the most difficult part (the part of the Widow, 1st soprano) corresponded to the artistic idea of the maestro Gennadi Rozhdestvensky." - The newspaper "Culture" on December 30, 1999. Mariam lgnateva.

"...the young singer who was playing Violeta's part has won people's hearts" - From the newspaper "Vechemy Kharkov" March 10, 1998.
