Laureate of International competitions, Mira Marchenko belongs to a brilliant array of pianists having a rich creative personality, with subtle artistic taste and displaying masterly techniques.

Since 1986 Mira has been teaching the piano at the Central music school at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow state Conservatory and conducts master-classes for students and teachers both in Russia and abroad.

In 2009 she was rewarded with a Bonus from the Russian Federation Minister of Culture for great contribution to the cultural development and effective work. In 2013 she was the winner at the All-Russian contest "The best children's art school teacher."

Mira Marchenko and her students actively cooperate with the Interregional Charity Public Fund "New Names", patronaged by Denis Matsuev and International Charity Foundation, headed by Vladimir Spivakov. They participate in festivals, concerts and master classes organized within the frame of the above Fund organizations.

Mira Marchenko is the possessor of the European Piano Teachers Association (ЕРТА), has got a special prize for outstanding achievements in the field of pedagogics, willingly and enthusiastically participates in the activities of the ”XXI century Art and Education” Association’s International Forums.
