Perform a Concerto of your choice with Baltic Sea OrchestraTour dates: August 10-12
Tuition includes:Tuition includes:
- 2 Full Orchestral rehearsals -Sightseeing trips with performances in:
- 1 Dress Rehearsal Pärnu, Tallinn (Estonia) and Helsinki, Finland
- 1 Session with conductor - 30 minutes -Accommodation and transportation by bus
- Program dates: July 31-August 2 OR August 7-9-Walking tours around Tallinn and Helsinki
- Attendance of all festival lectures and concerts (just listening) -Tour bus leaves from Riga August 11 at 10:00
** Concerti which require additional instruments will be subject to additional prize

Additional Rules

€75 Application fee must be paid with your application
-Scholarship applications (by video) must be sent by April 1, 2020
-Full program payment must be received by May 1, 2020
-Parents and guardians (must accompany students below 17) are responsible for own accommodation and food.
-Alion Baltic concert tickets are available for parents/guardians to purchase at discounted rates. All concerts are free for students.
- Accommodation rooms are subject to availability. Request early.

*Masterclasses are open to audience. Students are welcome to sign up for selected masterclass as active participant, or just to attend and listen. Lectures are open for attendance to everyone & focus on specific instrument and present a unique subject, e.g. "Secrets of Piano Playing" by Dmitri Bashkirov or "The life-span Bow" by Pierre Amoyal. **Student concerts will take place in Riga + concert/sightseeing trips to Lithuania & Segulda Castle (Weeks 1 & 2). Events Calendar

Tuition Discounts

  • Payment in full by April 1, 2020 is eligible for a 5% discount.
    • This is NOT a postmarked deadline.
  • Students who wish to attend more than one program (e.g. Piano and Violin) are eligible for 10% off each additional program.

Scholarships

  • A limited number of scholarships will be offered to advanced students who can prove financial need.
    A statement, explaining financial circumstances, current course of music studies, videos illuminating your solo, chamber and orchestral performances, concert experience, prizes, and other professional achievements are required to be submitted, supporting the application.

Refund Policy
